We are a privately owned hotel – not part of a chain – which means decisions happen here, not in a regional office. That shows in how we hire, how we cook and how we decorate.

The building

Original architecture with thoughtful additions over the years. We have restored detail in the public rooms and replaced the roof – the fun parts and the boring parts.

Step-free access to the ground floor, lift to all guest floors, accessible bathroom in two rooms. Please call if you need a specific layout.

Extra beds and cots on request. Children eat free at breakfast when sharing a room with two paying adults.

We buy locally where quality allows, refill bathroom amenities and only wash linen you leave in the bath.
